With over 10 years of international experience in Health, Safety and Risk Management, Mohammad Ali Cayongcat has a diverse background working in both the government and private sector. Appointed as Risk & Compliance Manager of IKEA’s new Distribution Center in the GCC in 2015, Mohammad's tenure uniquely combines industry experience and strong leadership skills that are key for the expansion plans of IKEA in the region.
For more than 5 years, Mohammad was a Health & Safety Senior Executive at Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZ), where he successfully implemented Occupational Health & Safety procedures and routines. Prior to DAFZ, Mohammad also served as a HSE Trainer in different companies in the UAE, boosting his expertise in the field.
Mohammad majored in Science in Nursing and throughout his career, he gained several certifications from international well-respected institutions. For many years, he was part of the Emergency Medical Team of Dubai Police Ambulance Services, becoming a specialist in Emergency Response.
